Everybody's Doin' It

Remember back in the day when the catch phrase was "Go on try it...everybody's doin' it" and then we'd succumb to peer pressure because we didn't want to be the odd man out?

I switched to beta....I think. I have some more stuff to check out, but what ever steps Blogger told me to take, I did. I just don't see a difference yet.

So, now I'll be twiddling with my blog....

    The major difference I see is when you try and update your template. Be sure to save a copy of your html before fiddling. I did this, thankfully and was able to restore my old template before I had the time to sit down and redo my template (just did it last night). There are a lot more easy fixes now to things like color and fonts, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get my blogroll onto the site!!! OY!

    Also, I get fed up having to log in. When I post this comment it will sign me out of my current gmail session because I'm using a different email address. What a mess! I think it's deter me from posting comments as much as I would normally. And it means I absolutely have to copy what I've written because I lose it automatically.

  • Julia, I put the moderation on because Blogger said I had a comment in moderation, so I had to turn it on to get to it.

    I have to go back and turn it off.

    I think I'll be pulling out my hair in a second!

    Mel, thanks for the tip, but I fear it's too late...the fiddling had already begun....

  • My template is all screwy again, and I haven't even switched yet.

    I guess we holdouts are becoming few and far between.

  • Hmmm ... Beta Blogger. I've heard both tales of glory and tales of "I deleted it because it sucked." Hopefully you are able to roll without issue.

    Let me know if you need any help with your template. Blogger and I were drinking buddies in college. ;)

  • I haven't switched yet.

    I'm just kind of hesitant to make any big changes when I don't have the time to troubleshoot problems.

    We'll see. One of these years. Maybe.
