Ellen, the girls aren't calling yet, but they make him play with them during playtime. He gets pretty pissed about that because they're pretty bossy and he gets tired of being pushed around, but I know deep down he enjoys the attention.

YES!! They are upside down. Apparently French Canadians install their outlets upside down and the theory is that the builders were either French Canadians or at least influenced by them.
It drove us crazy when we first moved in. Jeff still hasn't gotten used to it and has vowed to flip them...but that will never happen.
